The World Cup has begun!  And Serbian fans are ready to cheer for the White Eagles, their fudbal (soccer) team!  Serbia has appeared in the World Cup eleven times, and have high hopes for this year's competition.  In qualifications, Serbia finished first, beating top teams such as France and Austria.  Some say that Serbia could pull out many upsets!  The first game is June 13th against Ghana.

As people in Serbia gather to watch the games in the World Cup, pray that their hearts would be stirred to a deeper longing that a sports victory.  Pray that they would long for their Creator who loves them and sent His
Son to die for them.  Pray that many would seek God's glory instead of their own glory or the glory of their nation.
